Billiken

Minoh Beer was founded in 1996 by Masaji Oshita who was at the time the owner of a liquor shop in Osaka. He wanted more interesting beer varieties in Japan and after the brewing laws changed in 1994, he was able to establish a small craft beer brewery of his own. He chose the city of Minoh in north-western Osaka, famous for its national parks and wild monkeys.

Billiken Beer is a Hefeweizen style beer brewed by Minoh Beer in Osaka, Japan. It's known for its fruity and gentle texture, reminiscent of bananas and cloves. The beer's can design features Billiken-san, the god of luck and the symbol of Osaka's Tsutenkaku tower, along with Minoh Falls in the background.
